Windows Vista Error Fix:Error 0×80070103 “This computer does not have enough space for temporary files”

When you are working with Windows Vista sometimes get an error message and it says:

This computer does not have enough space for temporary files. Windows installation needs at least size megabytes (MB) of space on any partition for temporary files. To install Windows, free enough space and restart the installation.

Error code 0x80004005

This solution of this issue in Windows Vista is given below:

  • Start up your computer using Windows Vista installation DVD.
  • On the Windows Vista installation screen, click Next, and then click Install Now.
  • Press SHIFT+F10 to open a command prompt windows.
  • At the command prompt, type in diskpart, and then press Enter.
  • Type select disk 0, and then press Enter.
  • Type select partition 1, and then press Enter.
  • Type detail partition, and then press Enter. The hard disk drive partition attributes are displayed. Specifically, notice that Hidden: Yes is displayed. Note the hard disk volume number for this volume.Assume that this volume is displayed as Volume 0.
  • Type select volume 0, and then press Enter.
  • Type attributes volume clear hidden, and then press Enter.
  • Type detail volume, and then press Enter. Verify that Hidden: No is displayed.
  • Type exit, and then press Enter to exit the Diskpart tool.
  • Type exit, and then press Enter to exit the command prompt.
  • Restart the computer by using the original operating system, and then start the Windows Vista installation.
